Once again, the world’s biggest search engine has been caught altering results in order to downgrade a conservative voice, in this instance Candace Owens, founder of the #Blexit movement, or black exit from the Democratic Party.
As reported by Infowars’ Paul Joseph Watson, Google has been accused of election meddling by burying Owens’ Blexit website, even though it comes up as the No. 1 result on all other major search engines.
Watson reports that a user at “The Donald” subreddit noticed the results and took a series of screenshots in order to demonstrate how the Blexit site has essentially been blacklisted by Google. When you enter “Blexit” into Google’s search engine, the results are nothing but negative news articles about her campaign.
However, it gets even worse than that.
The very first Blexit website that is listed in the results isn’t related in any way to Candace Owens and in fact, is a separate organization. In fact, that group had to apologize to people because they had mistakenly donated to the site after thinking that their money was going to Owens instead.
“They noticed a massive increase of members and donations in the last few days. In other words: Due to Google’s f**kery with its algorithm, Candace Owen’s Blexit movement lost out on members and donations,” the Reddit user wrote.
Watson reported that the Reddit user said Owens’ Blexit website was the No. 1 search result on DuckDuckGo, but when we entered ‘Blexit’ into that search engine, a site for #BLEXIT – Social Justice Through Economic Resistance appears; Owens’ site was not listed. That is until we changed the “Safe Search” function from “moderate” to “off.” Then her site came up first. (Related: Google BUSTED: Tucker Carlson reveals how company mobilized to elect HILLARY.)
When we entered the term in Google, Owens’ site was not No. 1 but was listed on the first search page following negative news coverage.
But the point is taken: Google appears to have, at least at some point, altered the search results for her website, which is hard to defend because as the world’s biggest and most technologically advanced search engine, it’s hard to believe that Google would ‘get it wrong.’
And if that’s what’s taking place, it wouldn’t be the first time Google has been caught manipulating results. As NewsTarget reported in June 2017, the search giant faced billions of euros in fines following a seven-year investigation by the EU that found the company rigged results to favor its own shopping services.
In August, Natural News reported that Google was altering search results for “Trump,” returning nearly 100 percent negative results:
A recent experiment by Paula Bolyard from PJ Media proved this, as she found that while searching for the term “Trump” on Google, a shocking 96 percent of the results were negative, linking back to liberal, Trump-hating fake news outlets that routinely bash the President.
“I expected to see some skewing of the results based on my extensive experience with Google, but I was not prepared for the blatant prioritization of left-leaning and anti-Trump media outlets,” Bolyard wrote. “Not a single right-leaning site appeared on the first page of search results.”
Google, of course, claims that it does not and has never altered search results. But when Bolyard entered the president’s last name, 21 percent of the top results were news stories by CNN, which has not only published a boatload of fake news about POTUS Trump and his administration but which covers him more negatively than any other cable news outlet save MSNBC.
Conservative media outlets that at least cover the president fairly (which includes reporting honestly about his accomplishments) didn’t even make the top 100 results, Bolyard found.
No wonder Candace Owens’ website is getting downgraded at least some of the time.
