One of the defining moments of Bill Clinton’s presidency was his impeachment for lying to a federal grand jury regarding his sexual relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
But one of the defining moments of Clinton’s testimony was when he tried to justify his lie with this statement: “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.”
It was classic Clinton the Democrat playing the Orwellian word game in an attempt to weasel his way out of taking responsibility for something he so obviously had done.
Fast-forward to the present day: Democrats haven’t changed much. They’re still playing Orwellian word games in their attempt to slither away like roaches from the light of scrutiny over the Obama administration’s very obvious spying operation against the 2016 Trump campaign.
Spygate, if you will.
As more details of the operation came out last week, lead roach Adam Schiff of California, whom many believe became a serial leaker as a member of the House Intelligence Committee probing the Russian collusion hoax, looked to his pals in the Pravda media to change the wording and narrative of the most massive political scandal in American history.
It wasn’t Obama spying on the Trump campaign, you see, it was Obama using “informants” during a very legitimate counterintelligence operation. (Related: CNN busted as co-conspirator in deep state spygate scandal that targeted Trump… coordinated leaks and lies with the corrupt FBI.)
Following a “Gang of Eight” briefing on the scandal last week, Schiff emerged to tell every media source he could that there was nothing there. He said in a statement:
Today’s “Gang of Eight” briefing was conducted to ensure protection of sources and methods. Nothing we heard today has changed our view that there’s no evidence to support any allegation that the FBI or any intelligence agency placed a spy in the Trump campaign, or otherwise failed to follow appropriate procedures and protocols.
As noted by Breitbart News, that claim is also the basis for Trump-hating network MCNBC to publish a story with this headline: “Trump’s nonsensical ‘Spygate’ conspiracy theory ends with a whimper.”
But as Melissa Francis of Fox News would report following the meeting, the Justice Department still hasn’t provided Congress with requested documents related primarily to assets used by Obama’s Deep State to cultivate sources within the Trump campaign as well as what hard intelligence led to the investigation in the first place.
Furthermore, as Anders Hagstrom with The Daily Caller writes, everyone with a functioning brain stem already knows who the spy was: They believe it to be longtime Republican operative and former Cambridge University Professor Stefan Halper.
Hagstrom calls out The New York Times for suggesting that the FBI used an “informant,” not a “spy as Trump claims,” noting that, based on appropriate definitions, the source was clearly the latter, not the former.
Halper’s “actions toward Trump campaign advisors George Papadopoulos and Carter Page are totally disqualifying, but the Times continues pushing the idea that the FBI was working totally above board with no abuse of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Courts,” Hagstrom writes.
And let’s not forget that Halper was recommended for a position within the Trump administration after he took office, leaving many to speculate that the FBI was continuing to run its spy operation, as the president believes.
SPYGATE could be one of the biggest political scandals in history!

Conservative talker and columnist Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent, also addressed the Democrat-Pravda media Orwellian word game on his show last week.
In poking fun at Democrat-created terms, Bongino noted unequivocally that the person was a “spy — a spyyyyyy” — “not an ‘undocumented FBI employee’ or ‘a human confidential informant,’ it’s a spy.”
He noted that Democrats use the same strategy all the time, part of which includes changing the language and changing words in order to make them mean something else.
“They’ve been busted in the biggest spying scandal in history and they’re dancing around it,” Bongino noted.
